Every year, the PSF Club in association with Bruce King, put on a Fantasy Fair in Peterborough. It has been held at the Cresset Exhibition Center since the first one in 1990. There is a good mix of dealers in books, comics, annuals, games, films/TV, Sci-fi, collectables, figures, records, models, fantasy art, dragons, etc. There is also demonstrations of roleplaying and wargames, which people can participated in.

We usually have three or four guests, many of them local authours just starting out on the long, hard road to success.

A new addition in '98 was the Fantasy Dress competition which is held towards the end of the day, with embarrassing photos to blackmail the contestants with later.

All in all, a fun day is had by everyone who attend.

As well as running the Fantasy Fairs, the Club has, in the past, held two Conventions, and regularly invites authours, screen-writers, special effects engineers etc. who work in the SF genre, to talk at the clubs discussion nights. Previous guests include Grant Naylor, Jamie Delano, Richard Christian Matheson, Brian Stableford and the now sadly missed Bob Shaw.
