Another success!
There were many dealers selling books, comics, annuals, games, films/TV, sci-fi, collectables, figures, records, models, fantasy art, dragons, etc. and There was also demonstrations of roleplaying and wargames, which several people participated in.
Guests who attended were Science Fiction author Lisanne Norman, who has had three novels published in America starting with 'Turning Point', and Science Fantasy author Gwilym Hunter, who promoted his first novel 'Interregnum'. Barry Nobel (Cyberman - The Moonbase) also attended, and there is an interview with him in the Change of Zinery section.
Two other guests there included Graham George (Art) and Paul Davies (Script / Lettering) who produce a humorous little comic called 'Moonlighting'. It features a vampire and a werewolf private investigation team. It's not great, but does have some moments of promise. They promoted issue 2 at the the Fair. It's good to be able to help some local's trying to do something.
The Fantasy Dress competition was held towards the end of the day, with embarrassing photos to blackmail the contestants with later.
All in all, a fun day was had by everyone who attended, and we are now looking forward to Fantasy Fair 9, next year.
