In this game the player builds up armies of gods, demons and other super-natural entities and then tries to conquer areas of the outer realms. However, conquest might not necessarily be conducted by force, back-stage politics can also play their part.

     From having never played this before, we picked it up quite quickly. We used the initial rounds to learn by playing through the various methods of conflict. Future games flowed much smoother and the variability of deck size, player numbers and victory conditions, allow for increasing complexity.

     We picked up the game from a Remainder Bookshop at around a quid for a double-deck. This gave us a chance to try something new, for very little outlay. If you see this at a similar price, I'd recommend you give it a go.
