POEM FOR DUNGEON'S DAWN
By Cardinal Cox

Natasha, in swirling Victorian Fog
Takes tea with Jack the Ripper,
But do WAGN want her to be
A regular day tripper?

She might knit by a guillotine
And she might be a Vampire's bride,
But WAGN said that she
Hadn't got a ticket to ride.

Glimmer at the tunnel's end
wasn't villagers with torches alight,
But GNER with a free ticket
For this commuting spirit of the night.

She survived the deadly plague
And old London's great fire,
But at the end of the train crisis
Will she be a ticket buyer?

Count Dracula was on a train
When he came through King's Cross,
So WAGN admit your mistake
And recompense this Lady for her loss.

Natasha Dawn is a local actress who works for the London Dungeon. At the end of November 2000, during the train crisis, she ran foul of petty officialdom. This poem was written in support, though at the moment, we don't know the outcome.
