FULL FATHOM FIVE HIGH
By Cardinal Cox

Dismantaling the now obsolete transmitter station above Daventry, Reg discovered something. Or rather someone. Pinned between the high taught wires that held the pylons upright was a near-transparent figure.

"Not for the first time", it moaned.

"Though last time Sycorax chose an Ash tree to catch me thus".

Such tense cables have to be carefully released to avoid dangers to the whole crew, but with cutters the job was soon completed. The sprite was liberated.

Later over beers, when they got to chatting about the old days of the station Reg would say, "Oh but that Aerial was beautiful."
